North Queensferry is ideal as a base for exploring the local area of Edinburgh and Central Scotland.  It is also the beginning of the Fife Coastal Path, now the longest in Scotland

Edinburgh is easily accessed by car, train or bus from North Queensferry with a travel time of around 20 minutes

Edinburgh City Centre has one of the most fabulous settings in the world, with wonderful gardens overlooked by iconic Edinburgh Castle on one side of Princess Street, and great shopping and eating out on the other.  There are fabulous attractions from the amazing National Museum of Scotland, to a wide choice of theatres and art galleries.

Edinburgh hosts exciting events and festivals  all the year round from food festivals  and international rugby games to the world famous Edinburgh Arts Festival and Fringe with spectacular Military Tattoo and world-famous Hogmanay celebrations.

The street scene is vibrant with markets, exclusive bars, excellent restaurants and pubs and speciality shopping  offering unique Scottish arts, crafts and jewellery and cutting-edge fashion.

From North Queensferry it is easy to explore other fascinating towns including Stirling, Perth and St Andrews.  The "East Neuk" of Fife, with its quaint villages strung along a beautriful coastline of sandy beaches is unique
